Clojure's Core Syntax (Programming Language)

Clojure is a dialect of Lisp, and shares with Lisp the code-as-data philosophy. In this course, I’m going to run you through the most basic and simple concepts of the language. We’re going to be covering things like the print command, commenting, data types, string library, math library, sets, functions, conditionals, etc.It's all easy stuff especially if you already know how to code in another language. But, if you don’t, that’s perfectly fine as well. I’m going to be explaining everything as simply as possible, and anyone can easily understand the things discussed in each lecture of this course. It’ll be a breeze.Most importantly, in this course, we’re going to dive right into the code without spending anytime on installations, since we’re going to use an online IDE. This way you can start practicing and checking out the code right away and skip the annoying time-consuming experience of setting up your environment. You can even use a tablet or smartphone.Clojure is a nice fun language to learn. It’s syntax is different from many other languages. It’s unique take on presentation and code is something that a lot of people find appealing. This course is ideal for beginners learning to code, and for people who know other languages and want a quick introduction to Clojure’s Core Syntax.
