We're sorry to see you go. If you'd like to delete your NewSkill account, please read the information below carefully.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

  • Your account will be permanently deleted
  • All your personal information will be removed from our servers
  • Any courses you submitted will remain on the platform (anonymized)
  • This action cannot be undone

Important Note About Udemy Courses

Deleting your NewSkill account does NOT affect any courses you've enrolled in on Udemy. Those courses will remain in your Udemy account and you'll continue to have access to them.

How to Delete Your Account

Self-Service Deletion (Logged In Users)

If you're currently logged in:

  1. Go to your Profile Settings
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion

If you can't access your account or prefer assistance:

  1. Fill out our contact form
  2. Select "Account Deletion" as the subject
  3. Include your registered email address
  4. We'll process your request within 48 hours

Data Retention After Deletion

After you delete your account:

  • Your account will be deactivated immediately
  • Personal data will be deleted within 30 days
  • Backup data will be removed within 90 days
  • Some data may be retained for legal/compliance purposes

You don't have to delete your account permanently. You can simply stop using NewSkill and come back whenever you want. Your account and any submitted courses will still be here when you return.
